Street Pastors is an initiative of:
What are Street Pastors?
Street Pastors are on patrol in Southampton city centre from 10pm to 4am on Friday and Saturday nights to care for everyone, by listening and helping anyone who needs it. We are well known for looking after those who are vulnerable through too much drink and we often defuse violent situations as we chat and give out sweets.

Who are we?
There are over 50 volunteers organised into 12 teams, which each go out once a month. The volunteers are all from local churches, and operate in partnership with the police, the council and the clubs as part of the
Safe City Partnership. To find out more about us, check out the section about Street Pastors, or the national Street Pastors website.
