Street Pastors is an initiative of:

Street Pastors

A Street Pastor is a volunteer from a local church working as part of a team to be a caring presence and a listening ear to people who may need it, helping people to stay safe while they are out and to get home safely.

Street Pastors is a nation-wide Christian response to various social problems on the streets and we believe in five core values, which are:
  • The sacredness and sanctity of human life
  • Valuing and honouring the community
  • Being a person of integrity
  • Taking personal responsibility
  • Promoting the growth and development of the individual to their fullest potential
Our Christian faith, while not at the forefront of what we say when we are out as Street Pastors, is very much at the centre of why we do it. We believe that God loves every person and we are committed to helping everybody that we can, regardless of their beliefs, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnic background or any other factor.
